Basic
Obedience Classes


A great beginning obedience class for young dogs or dogs that are new to your house hold and may need to start training. Whether you own a dog for the first time or you just have a new addition to your family, this is a great place to build your dog's obedience foundation.

In our basic classes you & your dog learn:

  • The 5 Crucial Canine Commands; Stay, Wait, Leave-it, Drop-it, and Come.
  • How dogs should interact with each other through socialization and play time.
  • How pack order and structure affects the dogs in a human household.
  • Why dogs do what they do, and how to deal with them.
  • Proper handling skills for grooming, vet appointments, etc..
  • And  much more.

Participants are all required to bring proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
All dogs are required to have at least their first 2 rounds of vaccination
s.

Puppy classes hold a maximum of 12 dogs and are for dogs of all ages who have had at least the first 2 rounds of vaccinations. Sound Animal Services Dog Obedience Classes are $195 for the 6 week course, payable by check or cash on the first night of class.

These classes are held at our facility in the Interbay area between Magnolia and Queen Anne.
